Another year has started again, but meetings continue, this time in the neighborhood.
Tonight at Oliver Hazard (O.H.) Perry School, where yours truly went to kindergarten ages ago, another meeting was held on the proposed new facility that will be constructed next to the current nearly a century old structure. The meeting was to last one hour. However, when I left at seven, people were still asking questions, and arguing with the young lady who was presenting a PowerPoint presentation. The renderings of the new school looked at first quite impressive (for example, I liked the side view from East 185th St.), until little flaws were picked up by people who attended these meetings far more than I did.
