It just dawned on my this past week that it’s the beginning of the third year for this blog.
Since the first post on July 28th, 2014, I have tried to make an effort to make this blog more than ‘an online diary’ There have been some traffic on the site which I greatly appreciate. For the most part a lot of research and attention has been put into the pieces, such as The Second Machine Age; Another Look At Things To Come. Obviously, this is an excellent venue to polish up my writing skills.
As I’ve written before, I honestly don’t know where this is heading. My quick little posts, which tend to be more rants than objective pieces, seem to fill more of the space on this site these days since I am so busy. I do happen to have a few ideas for articles that can stand on their own on the lines of Cleveland’s District of Design: What Happened? or April’s post The Midwestern Resilient Cities Summit. Yet, if by a miracle a publication is interested in what I have to say, I’d like to think the article gets printed there (and I get paid).
For those who have taken the time to read this blog, thank you.
